Ya está aquí  la novena edición del BAUM FEST y la vigésimo cuarta Convención Internacional del Tatuaje de Barcelona, como uno de los impulsores de esta iniciativa que actualmente es cita obligada en nuestra ciudad.

En la pasada edición de 2020 lo ha hecho a través de un nuevo formato híbrido conreportajes, charlas y entrevistas en directo a personajes destacados del mundo del tatuaje y de la cultura urbana.

“Hemos reformado el concepto de escenario”comenta ISAAC Gómez, director de la Zona EXTREME …

“…y hemos aprendido a ir muy de prisa en la formade reinventarnos, adaptándonos cada vez a la nueva normativa vigente y a sus constantes cambios… de hecho el Hybrid fue un maratón, ¡se montó en solotres meses!”, añade LAURA Cubero, organizadora y portavoz del Festival.

La organización explica las dificultades que ha tenido para aplicar todas las normativas actualmente vigentes en Cataluña y relacionadas con el protocolo COVID, entre ellas la distancia social, sobre todo en la zona de las actuaciones. Es allí, frente al escenario principal, donde se ha montado una pasarela de 8 metros para evitar la masificación de visitantes, con el objetivo de poder garantizar la seguridad para todos ellos.

Es LAURA Cubero quien nos explica brevemente que hasta las actuaciones de este año son diferentes: “hemos decidido proponer más performances de arte y pintura para poder garantizar la distancia social y por tanto la seguridad de los artistas y del público”.

Mik hace hincapié sobre la importancia de la Convención en todo el sector del tatuaje, desde losartistas nacionales e internacionales, a los distribuidores que suelen presentar las últimas novedades en máquinas de tatuar y productosvinculados, además de todo lo relacionado con la cultura urbana en general. Mik anuncia además el nuevo cambio de normativa previsto para las tintas de tatuar a partir de 2022.


Garreta cede la palabra a ISAAC Gómez director de la Zona EXTREME, quien nos explica que, a pesar de las dificultades de este año, no faltarán las competiciones de danza con las batallas de Breaking Bboy, donde bailarines de toda la península batallarán en el escenario principal. “Nos acompañarán DJ ENZO y la narración de lo que acontezca irá a cargo de KADOER (ADDICTOS) quien hará a su vez de speaker», comenta Isaac.

Un año más habrá las demostraciones de deportes extremos con todo lo relacionado con bmx, inline y skate, además del estreno de una nueva área relacionada con el parkour, una disciplina física basada en la capacidad motriz del individuo, desarrollado a partir del método natural y basada en el freestyle del deporte físico, concluye Isaac.

JOSEP Pastor, encargado de presentar el evento en streaming, hace hincapié sobre la importancia de seguir haciendo los eventos culturales, todo tipo de cultura: tatuaje, baile, graffiti, música, etc. “¡el arte tiene que subsistir! …y con las medidas higiénicas actuales son eventos seguros”, concluye Josep.
