Del 14 de junio al 24 de septiembre la exposición “Björk Digital” podrá visitarse en el Centre de

Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona (CCCB). La muestra presenta los trabajos digitales y de vídeo

resultantes de las colaboraciones de la icónica artista islandesa con algunos de los mejores artistas

visuales y programadores del mundo. Con la Realidad Virtual como protagonista fundamental, en la

exposición se mezclan performance, cine, instalación, video e interacción.

 

EN EL LADO MUSICAL del Sónar 2017 ///

El exclusivo DJ Set de Björk para la Noche Inaugural de Sónar 2017 del miércoles 14 de junio en

Fira Montjuïc, que requiere entrada a parte, redondea la programación musical del festival, que contará

con más de 140 actuaciones repartidas en 9 escenarios entre Sónar de Día y Sónar de Noche.

Björk ilustra con sus diferentes intervenciones en Sónar 2017 (Dj Set, exposición y charla) la gran

variedad de actividades y formatos que el festival propone y que se despliegan este año a lo largo de toda

una semana. A la sedes habituales de Fira Montjuïc i Fira Gran Vía se suman emblemáticos espacios

culturales de la ciudad,que esos días asocian su actividad a Sónar: una auténtica Semana Sónar que

incluye el festival, tres congresos y cuatro exposiciones y que hace de Barcelona una plataforma

cultural única.

Este año el Sónar 2017 suma miércoles 14 y domingo 18 de junio a su oferta con el

DJ Set inaugural de Björk y el Concierto de Clausura en l’Auditori con la participación del compositor

de música clásica contemporáneo Nico Muhly, al piano, y el colectivo orquestal alemán Stargaze,

interpretando la pieza “Death Speaks” de David Lang.

Sónar+D se expande también, el sábado 17 y el domingo 18 de junio, con la inclusión del Maker

Faire Barcelona, el evento de tecnologías maker de acceso gratuito orientado al público familiar que

ocupará el Pabellón Italiano de Fira Montjuïc.

La Semana Sónar se completa con una espectacular oferta expositiva en la ciudad en la que

coinciden, además de “Björk Digital”, “David Bowie Is”del que ya les hablamos en otra nota y si no la has leído es momento!…
