En su obra se pueden apreciar las historias y leyendas de los pueblos mixtecos lo cuales transcurren por sus venas, todo esto se puede comprobar con tan solo apreciar los cuadros y murales que ha realizado en diversos lugares, con diversas exposiciones dentro y fuera de Oaxaca, como también ha realizado murales en la región.
