Este 29 de octubre de un 2021 inaugura LEGO su Flagship en Barcelona como homenaje a la creatividad que ha caracterizado a la ciudad, representado en toda la tienda y toda la experiencia que será esta nueva tienda.

Fuimos invitados a disfrutar de un día totalmente LEGO donde vivimos la experiencia de la marca al 1000% con un performance en la que la presentadora y humorista Eva Hache, junto a Martin Urrutia, director de Innovación de LEGO Retail, lanzaron contra el suelo, desde varios metros de altura, un plato gigante elaborado con 62.000 piezas LEGO. Un plato que se rompió en miles de ladrillos LEGO que fueron recogidos por los asistentes y que, minutos más tarde, sirvieron para dar forma a distintas construcciones de creatividad libre como homenaje a la técnica de origen catalán del trencadís dentro de la nueva tienda. y tienes que vivirla en la tienda, es una experiencia 360 grados y habrá muchas promociones y regalos en estos días para celebrar la apertura.

 

La primera Flagship Store de LEGO en Europa diseñada y construida bajo el concepto ‘Retailtainment’ ya ha abierto sus puertas en Barcelona. Situada en el Paseo de Gràcia, 9, una de las principales arterias turísticas y comerciales de la capital catalana, ofrece una nueva modalidad de experiencia al consumidor basada en la interactividad y la digitalización como entretenimiento. Junto a la de Nueva York y Guangzhou (China), es la tercera tienda en el mundo con estas características.

Con una superficie de 800 metros cuadrados, el diseño respira modernismo y evoca constantemente a la ciudad de Barcelona. La esencia del estilo del trencadís, popularizado por Antonio Gaudí, está muy presente en cada rincón. Aúna el espíritu de la cultura catalana, los iconos y la creatividad con la filosofía de LEGO, sus ladrillos y sus experiencias basadas en construir y destruir para volver a construir.
Y como todas las Flagship Store de LEGO, la de Barcelona también tiene sus propias mascotas. En este caso son dos: Antoni y Drago; creaciones que rinden homenaje a Antonio Gaudí y al icónico dragón del Park Güell. Antoni simboliza el carácter innovador y artístico de Cataluña, mientras que Drago refleja el espíritu inspirador que impulsa a las personas a desarrollar su lado más creativo. De este modo, la mascota encarna no sólo los pilares culturales de la región, sino también importantes valores del Grupo LEGO.

Nuestra parte favorita de la tienda son los monumentos recreados con piezas de LEGO
En la tienda, además, se incluye un modelo 3D de la Basílica de la Sagrada Familia, elaborado con 200.000 piezas LEGO, que tardó en construirse más de 1.200 horas. A lo largo de la tienda también hay repartidos varios modelos LEGO que recrean otros elementos simbólicos de la ciudad de

Barcelona, como una escena icónica del Park Güell, elaborada con casi 257.000 piezas de LEGO y con 660 kg de peso, situada justo detrás del escaparate. Está basada en edificios reales de Barcelona diseñados por Gaudí.
Y junto a esta escena, hay una figura de una persona sentada en uno de los característicos bancos del parque Güell. Los visitantes pueden fotografiarse con esta creación elaborada con cerca de 114.000 piezas, 26 kg de peso y que ha tardado en tomar forma 50 horas. La tienda, además, cuenta como un mosaico único creado para la tienda por familias locales.
En el centro del espacio se eleva el ‘Árbol del descubrimiento’, una construcción que representa el crecimiento de los niños a través del uso de las distintas piezas y productos de LEGO. En la base del árbol se sitúa la primera etapa, y conforme se va ascendiendo hasta la copa aparecen representadas las diferentes fases, cada una representada por un color del arco iris. Y en la copa del árbol se pueden ver tres pequeños modelos que representan a Barcelona: los loros, el camaleón y el tradicional gorro barretina. Además, alrededor del árbol hay un río de ladrillos de colores y pequeños trozos de azulejos inspirados en los mosaicos de Gaudí. El árbol mide casi cuatro metros de altura, pesa 1.600 kg, está formado por 889.000 piezas y ha tardado en construirse 1.900 horas.
