El concierto del cantante Neil Tennant y el teclista Chris Lowe es además, uno de los platos fuertes de la oferta de este año en el que el Jardins de Pedralbes cumple su tercera edición consecutiva. Serán 16 conciertos entre el 8 de junio y 9 de julio que volverán a situar a los Jardíns de Pedralbes dentro de la oferta musical de verano de la capital catalana: «Como muchas otras cosas, por ejemplo la recuperación de las fiestas de la Mercè en 1980, se gestó en una situación de crisis y se consolidó enseguida. Este festival ya ha cumplido tres años y seguro que será uno de los referentes de verano», ha comentado Mascarell. La reaparición del cantautor Bob Dylan (4 de julio) será otro de los conciertos singulares del Jardins de Pedralbes. Dylan, de 74 años de edad, está de gira por Europa el próximo verano, con su último disco, Shadows in the Night , y en España solo actúa en una ciudad más, en Granada el 8 de julio. Goran Bregovic, cuya música suele acompañar a las películas de Emir Kusturica, estará en el festival el 13 de junio con su música balcánica que se impondrá en los jardines de la Diagonal ya que en esta ocasión actuará con uno de sus espectáculos de mayor formato con decenas de músicos. Al día siguiente, 14 de junio, cambio total de registro con el dúo de Ana Belén y Victor Manuel con uno de sus últimos trabajos,Canciones regaladas. La cantautora británica Jessie J actuará el 16 de junio con su pop de corte bailable. Tres días más tarde, el 19 de junio, será el son de Buena Vista Social Club el que impregnará los jardines de Pedralbes. «Dos de los veteranos músicos vienen a retirarse, será una de sis últimas actuaciones»explicaba Pérez. De hecho, la gira leva el título Adiós Tour. El festival de Barcelona ha aprovechado la gira del trabajo Soul Boys of the Western World Livedel grupo británico Spandau Ballet para atraerlos al escenario de la Diagonal donde actuarán el 20 de junio. En la edición de este año hay espacio para el flamenco de la mano de Sara Baras con su espectáculo Voces (el 24 y 25 de junio) y del cantaor Miguel Poveda que estrenará Sonetos y poemas para la libertad el 9 de julio, el concierto que cerrará el festival este año. Las entradas se pondrán a la venta el miércoles y su responsable no quiso precisar demasiado el precio a excepción de que serán a partir de 18 euros.
