Este año el Salón recibirá a los Vengadores Los superhéroes siempre tienen un lugar especial en el Salón Internacional del Cómic de Barcelona. En esta ocasión, además del Capitán América y El Joker, protagonistas de sendas exposiciones, lo tendrán Los Cuatro Fantásticosy Los Vengadores. Por un lado, y gracias a 20th Century Fox, los visitantes podrán experimentar los poderes de Los Cuatro Fantásticos en el espectacular espacio que el popular cuarteto dispondrá en el Salón. Así, el público asistente podrá medir su elasticidad como si fuera Reed Richards, el genio científico y líder del grupo que tiene un cuerpo elástico, o su fuerza como poderoso Ben Grimm. También podrán simular que se hacen invisibles, como Sue Storm, o fotografiarse entre llamas, como si fuesen Johnny Storm, la Antorcha Humana. El Salón del Cómic de Barcelona dedica su edición de este año a la ciencia ficción y la fantasía heroica y no podían faltar los integrantes de Los 4 Fantásticos, el singular grupo de Marvel Comics. Y más cuando está en marcha una nueva adaptación cinematográfica, que se estrenará el próximo 14 de agosto y que dirigirá Josh Trank y protagonizará Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara y Jamie Bell. La nueva adaptación gira en torno a cuatro jóvenes inadaptados que son tele-transportados a un universo alternativo y peligroso, que transforma su aspecto físico de manera asombrosa. Con sus vidas irrevocablemente trastocadas, el equipo debe aprender a utilizar sus nuevas habilidades y trabajar juntos para salvar a la Tierra de un antiguo amigo convertido en enemigo. Hablando de adaptaciones cinematográficas, Los Vengadores también serán protagonistas. Durante los cuatro días del Salón, los asistentes podrán tratar de levantar el martillo de Thor que estará colocado en el stand de Vengadores. El 30 de abril se estrena la segunda entrega de la saga, titulada Vengadores: La era de Ultrón, en la que el destino del planeta pende de un hilo cuando Tony Stark intenta hacer funcionar un inactivo programa para mantener la paz. Las cosas le salen mal y los héroes más poderosos, incluyendo Iron Man, Capitán América, la Viuda Negra, Thor, el Increíble Hulk y Ojo de Halcón, se ven enfrentados a la prueba definitiva: un súper villano llamado Ultrón.
