  Ya sabemos que él MWC es el faro luminoso de la tecnología móvil pero la edición de este año promete más que nunca y así nos lo han hecho saber desde Qualcomm, la empresa líder en fabricación de chips para teléfonos y tabletas ha lanzado una apuesta fuerte para el Mobile World Congress (MWC), el Snapdragon 820, su procesador estrella será el motor de los teléfonos de alta gama de 2016. 

 Con este lanzamiento se prevee una mejora de un 30% más de durabilidad de batería por carga y en un tiempo mucho más corto aproximadamente un 60% x 30 minutos de carga así como mejoras en los algoritmos del procesador para mejorar el nivel de procesamiento de imagen logrando mejores tomas en condiciones extremas de luz como el sol directo o la oscuridad de la noche. 

  
Y nos preguntaremos: la llegada del nuevo procesador Snapdragon 820 afectará en el precio del equipo en tiendas y nos comenta el ejemplo de la marca Xiaomi (ya la recordarán en la nota del top 10 de móviles 2015-2016) siendo el mejor ejemplo de teléfonos con unos componentes propios de los que cuestan 500 dólares, vendidos a 300. Su apuesta es hacer la tecnología asequible, y hacer dinero con complementos y accesorios”.

  
Ahora sí parece que la tecnología dará un buen salto pues viene empujando muy fuerte la realidad virtual las experiencias 360 grados. La llegada de las gafas Cardboard de Google o Oculus VR, impulsado por Facebook y Samsung, les ha llevado a asumir el reto de mejorar los resultados: “Sabemos que en los próximos años muchos consumidores van a experimentar la realidad virtual. Parece fácil, pero es un sistema realmente complejo, requiere de gran potencia y definición. Hay que tener en cuenta que los píxeles están muy cerca, se pierde mucha resolución. Con Snapdragon 820 permitimos que la definición dé un salto importante sin que se ralentice la experiencia”.

  
Así que Tim McDonough, vicepresidente de Qualcomm nos pide un voto de confianza recomendando esperar a ver q se presenta en el MWC 2016 para contemplar la idea de comprar un nuevo dispositivo.
